This notice explains how SS Electronics and Electricals ("we", "us", running the store SS TechMart) collects and uses your personal data, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"). We are the Data Fiduciary for the data described below. You are the Data Principal.
1. Who we are

2. What personal data we collect
- Sign-in data: your name and email address, received from Google when you choose Continue with Google. We never see your Google password.
- Order data: delivery name, phone number, address, pincode, the items you buy, and your order and payment status.
- Payment data: card, UPI and bank details are entered on Razorpay's secure page. We receive only a payment reference, the amount and the status. We do not store card, UPI PIN or bank login details.
- Reviews you write: your star rating and text. They are shown with your first name and last initial only, and marked Verified buyer. You can ask us to remove a review at any time.
- Coupon use: which coupon codes you used, so each code is honoured only as many times as allowed.
- Messages you send us on WhatsApp, phone or email, such as quote requests.
- Basic technical data such as device type and pages visited, only to keep the site secure and working. Your cart is stored in your own browser.
3. Why we use it (purposes)
- To create your account and sign you in.
- To process, deliver, install and support your orders, and to handle returns, replacements and warranty.
- To take payment, prevent fraud and keep required tax and accounting records.
- To show your review on the product page, and to decide whether you qualify for a coupon meant for repeat or high-value customers (based on your order history with us).
- To reply to your questions and quotes.
- To keep our website secure and fix errors.
4. Basis and consent
We process your data with your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box at checkout or signing in, or for legitimate uses allowed by the DPDP Act, such as completing the service you asked for, complying with the law, or responding to a medical or safety emergency. We only ask for data we need for these purposes. Consent is free, specific and informed, and you can withdraw it at any time.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share only what is needed with service providers who process it for us:
- Supabase: database, sign-in and storage.
- Vercel: website hosting.
- Razorpay: payment processing.
- Google: sign-in with Google.
- Courier and installation partners: your name, phone and address, to deliver and install your order.
- Government or courts, when the law requires it.
6. Where it is stored and how long we keep it
Some of our providers store or process data outside India. We do this only where the DPDP Act allows. We keep your account data until you delete your account. Order, invoice and payment records are kept for as long as tax, accounting and consumer laws require (typically up to 8 years), after which they are erased. When you delete your account, we remove your login and profile and unlink your orders from you.
7. How we protect it
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls so each customer can only see their own data, separate secret keys for payments kept on our server and never in your browser, verified payment signatures, and regular security reviews. If a personal data breach affects you, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
8. Your rights as a Data Principal
To use these rights, write to sselectronics.kgm@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp 8328148081. We reply within a reasonable time and not later than the law allows.
- Access: ask for a summary of your personal data and how we process it.
- Correction and updating: ask us to correct or complete your data.
- Erasure: ask us to delete your data. You can delete your account yourself on the My account page.
- Withdraw consent: at any time, as easily as you gave it. Withdrawing does not affect what we did before.
- Grievance redressal: complain to us first (section 10).
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to.
9. Children
Our store is meant for adults. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to place orders for you. We do not knowingly collect data of children without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will remove it.
10. Grievance Officer
For complaints about your data or any order, contact the Grievance Officer, SS Electronics and Electricals, H.No 7-7-293, Lenin Nagar, Kothagudem, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Telangana - 507101. Email sselectronics.kgm@gmail.com or call 8328148081 (Mon-Sat, 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM). We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
11. Cookies and similar storage
We use only essential storage: sign-in cookies, and your cart saved in your browser. We do not run advertising trackers. If we add analytics later, we will ask for your consent first.
12. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when our practices or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version. For big changes we will tell you on the site.
